Insurance company agents often time portray themselves as friendly people out to help you. Don't be fooled, the insurance agent is there to persuade you to take a quick and low dollar amount settlement to protect his or her company. They are good at their job and may convince you that your case isn't worth much and that it is in your best interest to settle. But, remember, they are not looking out for your best interests.
